SHAPING

Your basket may come flat packed or with use can go out of shape. With these instructions you will be able to return your basket to its correct shape. Don't be afraid to get it wet as it makes the fibers pliable and manageable.

• Lightly wet item with water by either hosing or dipping in water then let it sit for a few minutes

• Use your hands to mold the item back to its original shape

• Dry in the sun or indoors under a fan. Make sure completely dry before storing​

• Once a year it is suggested to give your Boga Basket a wetting as this rejuvenates the Elephant Grass for longevity.

CARE POLICY

You will get many years of use from this environmentally friendly product by:

• Sun or fan drying if it gets wet

• Spraying with diluted clove oil to prevent mould in humid climates

• Natural dyes used to colour the baskets may fade and age over time. (But will still look awesome) Avoid leaving baskets in the sun for extended periods of time

• Very important, please note. Baskets are made from Elephant Grass which, if abused or misused, will abrade or break. Don't drag your basket along rough surfaces, don't lift or carry a double-handled basket with one handle, don't overload basket, don't outwardly extend the handles of double-handled baskets.
